At Mister Barker, we explore the timeless bond between dogs and their people. From renowned hoteliers to celebrated artists and collectors, we've studied those who live life in curious ways, with a quiet yet ever-present companion by their side. "Mister Barkers" remind us that while human lives are often filled with the noise of ambitions and anxieties, the dogs alongside them have mastered the art of living in the moment. They simply exist in the serenity of today.

Through our exploration of great minds and creators, we recognize that these dogs are more than just pets—they are anchors. Consider Yves Saint Laurent and his beloved Moujik, or Picasso with Lump; their success and creative prowess were nurtured by a quiet, grounding presence at their sides. The dogs, curled by desks in their offices or ateliers, invite their humans to take a deep breath and embrace the here and now. The companionship they offer isn't just a comfort—it's a vital reminder of how we might better live with intention, focusing on the present as Barkers do so effortlessly.​​

Mister Barker highlights the profound relationship between human and creature and the infinite ways in which we inspire one another.
Mister Barker was created in August 2023 by writers, Cristina Warwick and Luisa Adems, in Milan, Italy. Mister Barker began as an instagram mood board @mister.barker with the intention of highlighting imagery of art, interiors and people with their pets.
Our mood board has become a space for a community, both a journal and a visual curation.
